 | Ms. Bresin is National Council for Interior Design Qualification (NCIDQ) certified, an active professional
member of the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) and a Past President of the New Jersey Chapter of ASID. Prior
to owning her own firm, she held positions as Director of Design and Senior Designer for several architectural firms. Her
responsibilities included specifying, scheduling and supervising installation, as well as administrative communication with
engineering and construction project teams. Terminal C at Newark Airport for Continental Airlines was completed during her
tenure at one of these firms.
National magazines, including House Beautiful, Stone World and
Design Times, regional magazines, including New York Spaces, New Jersey Monthly, New
Jersey Country Roads, New Jersey Savvy Living and Design NJ, and newspapers, including The Star
Ledger and The Record, have featured her work.
Ms. Bresin's work has been
showcased in New Jersey's most prestigious showhouses. The 2006 Montclair Showhouse and the 2005 Designer Showhouse of NJ
most recently featured interiors by Tere. She is among the distinguished list of designers who participated in the 1997 and
1994 "Mansion in May" sponsored by the Woman's Association of Morristown Memorial Hospital.
Design honors include four Gold Awards and eight Silver Awards for Design Excellence
in the Residential Design Awards Competitions sponsored by the New Jersey chapter of ASID. In 2004 she received The Gold and Silver Award/Kitchens Category. In 2000, she received the Silver
Award/Single Space Category for the room she created for the 1997 Mansion in May Showhouse. The same space was honored by Design Times magazine
in their January '98 "Best of Showhouses" issue. In 1997, she received the Gold Award/Kitchen and Bath Category
and the Gold Award/Residences Under 3500 Square Feet for the renovation of an 1870's Dutch Colonial home, bringing it up-to-date
while respecting the integrity of the original architecture. This project was prominently featured in the Summer '98 issue
of New Jersey Country Roads magazine. Tere Bresin was featured in October of 2005 on HGTV's
hit show Designer's Challenge. Tere was the designer chosen. Her plans for a dining room and a foyer were
shown from conception to completion on this popular TV show. Tere was recently chosen to appear in a Panache Publication showcasing
New York's finest interior designers titled, "Spectacular Homes of Metro New York". Also, the October 2008 issue of New York Spaces
magazine named Tere Bresin in their list of "50 Names You Need to Know in Design in Metro New York". Tere's design of a Mountain Lakes home was featured; not only on
the cover; but also as a full design story within Design NJ magazine's April/May 2009 Issue.
